All initial screening panel will review all eligible nominations and select a maximum of thirty (30) finalists - ten (10) in each of the three categories - to send to the judging panel and post on this website for public voting.
Judging panel will score nominations, and the top scoring nomination in each of the three categories will be named a winner. Of those three, the top scoring nomination overall will be named the Grand Prize recipient and the other two will be First Prize recipients.
Your Better World Award recipient may or may not be one of the three winners chosen by the judges.
Judges decisions are final and selection of recipients is as the sole discretion of the judging panel and Sponsor.
Failure of recipient to respond to notification of award within three (3) days constitutes forfeiture of award and an alternate winner will be chosen.
One (1) GRAND PRIZE AWARD: The highest scoring nomination, as scored by the judging panel, will receive $25,000 to be donated to the charity of the recipient's choice.
Two (2) CATEGORY AWARDS: The next two highest scoring nominations will receive $10,000 to be donated to the charities of their choice.
One (1) "YOUR BETTER WORLD" AWARD: The nomination receiving the highest number of online votes will receive $10,000 to be donated to the charity of the recipient's choice. This award is given independently of the other three awards mentioned above and may be in addition to one of the other prizes listed above, either the Grand Prize Award or a Category Award.
Each of the above winners will also be required to attend the awards dinner on November 15, 2007. Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation (or ground transportation, depending on winner's location) for Winner and her guest from the major U.S. or Canadian airport near Winner's residence to Philadelphia International Airport in Philadelphia; four-day, three-night double occupancy hotel accomodations in the Philadelphia area; ground transportation to and from Philadelphia International Airport and hotel; and $200 in American Express gift checks.

Airport, airline tickets, train station, train tickets, car service schedules, car service companies, and/or hotel accommodations are to be selected by the Sponsor. All meals, gratuities, and other expenses associated with the Prize package not specifically mentioned in these rules are the recipient's sole responsibility.
